This weekend the general cargo vessel “Tina“ unmoored from the new constructed and already put into operation quay No. 143a. The operator of the quay No. 143a is JSC Klaipėda Container Terminal.

Quay No. 143a is 329.45 meters in length, the draught alongside the quay is 10 metres. This quay is designated for handling of rapidly increasing container flows in the southern part of the port.

The contractual price of the object was 16 314 477.13 Lt including VAT.

The contract agreement on the construction works of the object “Construction of quay No. 143a and quay reinforcement in Malku Bay: the IIId construction stage – construction of the remaining part of quay No. 143a; the IVth construction stage – quay reinforcement in Malku Bay“ was concluded between the Port Authority and JS “BMGS“ on the 22nd of December 2010.
