Scotland Hosts Integrated CARIS and EIVA Workshop

Members of the offshore industry community in Aberdeen, Scotland were invited to attend a CARIS and EIVA workshop featuring the integrated solution for offshore survey. The workshop was well attended with 24 attendees from survey companies in the Aberdeen area and beyond.

CARIS’ Trish Groves and Dagmar Kuil, alongside Lars Dall from EIVA spent the day highlighting the CARIS and EIVA workflow from acquisition to processing, to data modelling through to data management. In addition, participants were also provided with detailed demonstrations of the latest water column, patch test and side scan tools in CARIS HIPS and SIPS and data management tools in CARIS Bathy DataBASE (BDB).

“It was fantastic to see so many people take time out of their busy schedules to attend. The feedback has been extremely positive with the community finding the day very relevant, interesting and useful ,” said Trish Groves, Account Manager for UK and Ireland at CARIS.
