Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy Seaport in Expansion Mode

In accordance with Government of Russia Regulation dated 21.12.2013 No. 2473-r, it is decided to expand the boundaries of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy Seaport by means of inclusion of the land plots in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, where a passenger terminal is to be constructed, and in Nikolskoye village (Commander Islands, Kamchatka Territory), where it is planned to build a berth with a seasonal marine checkpoint throught the state border of the Russian Federation.

Construction of a passenger terminal will help to arrange passenger flow between Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy and the far-fetched villages of Kamchatka territory, whereas the new checkpoint will enable to receive tourists in the reserve of the Commander Islands.

FSUE “Rosmorport” uses 8 land plots in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy Seaport with the total area size of not more than 6.8 hectares, which makes 4.9 % of the total area size of the seaport, and also uses 2 water facilities with the total area size of 0.007 square meters, which makes 0.000004 % of the total water area size of the seaport.
