Horizon Survey Company (Horizon) and Pelydryn Ltd (Pelydryn) announced that with effect from 1st December 2013 Horizon have acquired a controlling interest in Pelydryn.
It is planned that the two companies will retain their individual identities and continue to operate independently. Where beneficial, Horizon and Pelydryn may combine services to provide the clients with comprehensive marine and airborne survey solutions.
Horizon and Pelydryn are represented worldwide and this relationship capitalises on the existing range of specialist services that can be delivered which includes marine survey and geotechnical services and airborne bathymetric and topographic LiDAR surveys.
With this acquisition Horizon continues to support the clients by expanding the services and adds LiDAR surveys to the core competencies.
