Alexandroupolis Port Dredging Contract Awarded

The Consortium “Ch.D. Constantinides SA – SA ETETH” has won the Alexandroupolis Port dredging contract.

This nearly EUR 20 mln deal will include the completion of dredging on the outer (eastern) basin of the Port of Alexandroupolis and dredging work on the port approaching channel.

The Port of Alexandroupolis is an important port and commercial center of northeastern Greece.

Alexandroupolis is about 14.5 km west of the delta of the river Evros, 40 km from the border with Turkey, 346 km from Thessaloniki on the newly constructed Egnatia highway, and 750 km from Athens.
