USA: Corps to Invite Bids for Lake Ontario Harbors Dredging

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, has presented a plan to invite bidders for the Lake Ontario harbors dredging projects. The harbors included in this plan are: – Fair Haven, – Irondequoit, – Oak Orchard, – Olcot and – Wilson harbor. During the realization of these cleanup projects,

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, has presented a plan to invite bidders for the Lake Ontario harbors dredging projects.

The harbors included in this plan are:

– Fair Haven,

– Irondequoit,

– Oak Orchard,

– Olcot and

– Wilson harbor.

During the realization of these cleanup projects, approximately 59,000 cubic yards of material will be removed from the mentioned harbors.

The date of the release of Invitation for Bids (IFB) is anticipated to be 12 Feb 2014.
