USA: Corps Asks Public for Resubmission of Comments for Southwest Project

Corps Asks Public for Resubmission of Comments for Southwest Project

As part of the 45-day National Environmental Policy Act required public comment period for the “Southwest Coastal Louisiana Draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement,” the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, established the Southwest Coastal Feasibility Study project email, [email protected], as a tool to collect public comment.

Due to a technical issue with the email system, public comments sent to this email were not received by the project team.

Public comment is an important part of the Corps’ planning and National Environmental Policy Act processes. To ensure that the Corps receives and addresses all public comments, members of the public are asked to resubmit email comments no later than February 13, 2014.

The technical issue has been addressed and comments can be resubmitted to [email protected]. All comments received by email will be acknowledged with a confirmation email.
