The Netherlands: Boskalis Expands Partnership with Infor

Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced that Boskalis, a leading service provider of all-round dredging and maritime solutions, will implement the Infor 10x version of Infor LN, which includes Infor ION, Infor Ming.le and Infor Business Intelligence (BI).

 

The Philippines: Crisis Over “Black Sand Mining” Continues

Chief Supt. Danilo Constantino, the regional director of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Region 7, has cautioned police personnel against the use of unnecessary force while keeping the peace at the controversial “black sand mining” issue in Tanjay City.

The custom-built cutter suction dredger QUIBIÁN I and the backhoe dredger ALBERTO ALEMÁN ZUBIETA were selected by the Panama Canal Authority to help with expansion and maintenance work.

 

Australia: Heron Completes Caltex Dredging Program

On July 26 2012, Caltex announced that the Kurnell Refinery Facility would be converted into a major Import Terminal. In order to achieve this goal, major works on the Refinery site and at the Kurnell Crude and Products Wharf were scheduled to take place to allow for a greater import capacity of products.
