In the framework of the forum “Russian-Dutch business meetings” organized by the Kaliningrad Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Netherlands Consulate-General in St. Petersburg and Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of the Nederlands on 19 February 2014 the Dutch delegation met the management of the Kaliningrad Department of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-West Basin Branch.
Head of the Kaliningrad Department Andrey Moshkov made a presentation of the department and told the guests about its main tasks and functions, and also about the key aspects of development of the Kaliningrad Seaport infrastructure facilities.
The participants of the meeting discussed the prospects of handling cargo at Kaliningrad Seaport for the route Russan Federation – the Kingdom of the Nederlands. The meeting was also focused on potential cooperation in the field of dredging works at Kaliningrad Sea Canal and other hydraulic engineering works, considering the experience and technical capabilities of Dutch companies in that field.
