The Port of Mackay Community Reference Group (CRG) held its regular meeting yesterday.

The CRG provided an opportunity for North Queensland Bulk Ports (NQBP) to update representatives of the community on developments at the Port and to gain feedback from the community.

Tropical Cyclone Dylan caused significant damage to the southern breakwater at the Mackay Marina and although engineering assessments are still continuing, the result is the breakwater will remain closed to public access for the foreseeable future.
