USA: New Sand Arrives at Robert Moses State Park

New Sand Arrives at Robert Moses State Park

Robert Moses State Park will soon receive about 400,000 cubic yards of sand, according to news12.com.

The sand for this project will be taken from the state boat channel beneath Ocean Parkway, and transported through a mile-long pipe onto the fields that were severely affected by erosion.

The main goal of this beach fill program, scheduled for April 1st, is to get Robert Moses State Park ready for the summer.
