Fox River dredging program was scheduled to commence later this month, but because of the ice on the river, the project will be delayed for some time, reports wbay.com.
James Hahnenberg, EPA Remedial Project Manager , said: “ How much of a delay really depends on the weather over the next few weeks .”
According to EPA, this lost time could be made up throughout the summer and fall additional work.
The Fox River Cleanup Project has a target completion date of 2017.
