Ocean City Beach Renourishment

The Ocean City beach renourishment project is currently underway.

The dredger R.N. Weeks is one of the two boats used for dredging in Ocean City, Md. During renourishment the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers typically places 800,000 cubic yards of sand on the beach at Ocean City every four years.

Dredging activities began in January and will continue through mid-April.
