PPA Invites Bids for Port Developments

The Philippine Ports Authority has invited bidders to submit their offers for seaport development in Bohol, Marinduque, and Surigao del Norte, reports GMA Network.

These projects include the construction of a passenger terminal building at the Port of Tagbilaran as well as the construction of a wharf, a Roro ramp, and a back-up area at the Port of Balanacan in Mogpog, Marinduque.

Further, the government-owned corporation is planning a site development project for the Port of Dapa in Surigao Island.

Bidders have until April 14 to submit their offers for the Marinduque and Surigao projects and April 15 for the Bohol project.

The above-mentioned development projects will increase the total amount of workload in this area.

The estimated total cost of the projects is P176 million.
