Activities of the Corps include navigation, flood damage reduction, shoreline protection, hydropower, dam safety, water supply, recreation, environmental restoration and protection, and disaster response and recovery.

The hearing, entitled “A Review of the President’s Fiscal Year 2015, Budget Request for the United States Army Corps of Engineers,” is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building, in Washington, D.C.
