Norfolk Dredging Shifts Dredging Works to Deepwater Point Range

Dredging operations have been completed in New Castle Range of the Delaware River and all submerged pipeline has been removed.

Norfolk Dredging, the contractor, is currently conducting dredging operations at Deepwater Point Range, scheduled to continue through mid-May, 2014.

The Dredge ESSEX is operating in Deepwater Point Range, working from south to north, starting on the east side of the channel in the vicinity of the western point of the Killcohook National Wildlife Refuge.

On or about April 9, 2014 a submerged pipeline will be placed across the channel to facilitate dredging the Delaware side of the river.
