Van Oord Nabs Surabaya Dredging Contract (Indonesia)

Van Oord, a leading international contractor specialising in dredging, marine engineering and offshore projects, has been awarded a contract for dredging and maintenance work for the western access channel to the Port of Surabaya in Indonesia.

 

Dredger “Albatros” Delivered to Dutch Dredging

After successful sea and dredging trials, the suction hopper dredger “Albatros” was recently delivered to her owners Dutch Dredging.

 

Eastern Shipbuilding to Build Dredger for GLDD (USA)

Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. and Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, LLC signed a contract for the construction of a new Trailing Suction Hopper Dredge ATB Unit consisting of a 433’ Trailing Suction Hopper Dredge Barge and 158’-4” 15,600 BHP, CPP Tug at Eastern’s Panama City, Florida facilities.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte visited Van Oord, a leading international contractor specialising in dredging, marine engineering and offshore projects, to discuss amongst others the significance of trade missions.

 

Denmark: Tender Announced for Port of Frederikshavn Dredging

Frederikshavn Havn A/S invited bidders for the Port of Frederikshavn expansion project. Upon completion of the contract, the Port of Frederikshavn will receive about 4,800m of new breakwaters with 2 breakwater heads and 600m-1000m quay walls.
