VIDEO: Preparations Move Ahead for Rockaway Beach Replenishment (USA)
During the phase 1B of the Rockaway Beach Replenishment Project, around 3,500,000 cubic yards of sand will be placed onto the Rockaway beaches.
This work should prevent erosion and damage from future storms.
The project will take place between B149th St. and B19th St.
