DREDGEPACK to Help in Kishon River Restoration Project

HYPACK Inc., a worldwide leader in hydrographic surveying and dredging software, was selected for the Kishon River Restoration Project.

The Israeli Environmental Protection Minister launched an IMS Versi-Dredge® outfitted with the DREDGEPACK® real time dredge monitoring system.

Throughout the next several months, DREDGEPACK® will be used to help eliminate the pollution in the Kishon River. The customer will dredge up contaminated sediment from the riverbed by using an IMS 7012 Versi-Dredge® with DREDGEPACK®.

About 400,000 cubic meters of material is expected to be removed within the next 20 months.

DREDGEPACK® will provide the project with the real-time 3D information to show the dredge relative to the dredge surface and volumes estimates. DREDGEPACK® will allow the operator to monitor and record digging operations and allow the contractor to maximize digging efficiency while providing a record of digging operations.

Overall, HYPACK Inc. continues to provide the project with needed support to successfully restore the Kishon River.
