Contractor for Berlevåg Harbour Deepening Works Needed

Kystverket is seeking for a contractor to conduct deepening works of Berlevåg harbour.

The works should be comprised of deepening of the harbour to depths of -7.3m and -5.3m, and construction of a breakwater and a beach edge landfill for polluted matter (underwater blasting and dredging).

Approx. 90,000m³ consists of polluted bottom sediments as well as moraine material and sand. Excess matter is to be deposited at sea.

The work will also include the construction of an approx. 150m long breakwater – with blasted matter from the deepening (approx. 25,000m³) and with the delivery of ready blocks for the breakwater, approx. 27,000m³ blocks.

Also required will be the construction of a beach edge landfill site for polluted matter, various dredging and infilling works.

The project start up is planned for August 20, 2014, and the project is expected to be completed until December 2015.

The tenders for this project should be submitted no later than June 30, 2014, and the official language of the tender procedure is Norwegian.
