Depoe Bay and Garibaldi Dredging

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, has introduced the details about the Depoe Bay and Garibaldi Boat Basins dredging scheme.

During the Depoe Bay Boat Basin dredging about 15,000 cubic yards of material will be removed and placed in intertidal surf zone placement site. The boat basin is 750 feet long, 390 feet wide and has an authorized depth of 10 feet.

The Garibaldi Boat Basin dredging program will include removal of approximately 30,000 cubic yards of material with in-water placement. The authorized project depth for the approach, channel and boat basin is 12 feet.

The total value of these cleanup projects, located on the Oregon Coast, is between $500,000 and $1 mln, and the solicitation will be available on or about June 29, 2014.
