GLDD Wins Contract Modification from USACE

Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company, LLC, Oak Brook, Illinois, has been awarded a $17 million modification to a previously awarded contract for dredging shoaled material in the New York harbor. Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company, LLC, Oak Brook, Illinois, has been awarded a $17 million modification to a previously awarded contract for dredging shoaled material in the New York harbor.

The work will be performed along the Newark Bay Port Elizabeth Channel, Newark Bay north and south areas, and along Kill Van Kull in the vicinity of Constable Hook and Anchorage Channel.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, is the contracting activity.

The estimated completion date is September 7, 2014.
