Australia: Port Hughes Dredging Scheme Set for Next Week
The Port Hughes Boat Ramp dredging program will be undertaken from 26th to 29th August 2014, according to coppercoast.sa.gov.au.
This area will still be operational during the project, but users should allow additional time for delays or consider using the launching facility at Wallaroo.
The Port Hughes Boat Ramp is located at the township of Port Hughes, approximately 170 km north of Adelaide on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia.
The boat harbor has also seasonally silted through sand accumulation, requiring annual dredging to facilitate ongoing boat access.
