Four Abducted Workers Released in Nigeria

Four Nigerian nationals, attached to Setraco Nigeria Ltd., who were kidnapped by unknown gunmen from the dredging site along the Nembe waterways on Saturday (August 16th) are free at last.

Spokesman of the Bayelsa State Police Command, Mr.Alex Akhigbe, confirmed yesterday to the NGR Guardian news site that after ten days of captivity, four dredging workers have been released finally.

He revealed identity of the workers (Caleb Agene, Otuke Magic Kingdom, Gabriel Oghene and Godwin Odukpong) and continued “as the Anti-Squad team of the Bayelsa Police Command was getting ready to attack the kidnappers, some good Samaritans saw them where they were, detained close to Brass Area, and helped them to Ogbia waterside.
