Sediment sampling and testing will be done prior to dredging operations to confirm method of disposal.
Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by March 2016.
Three proposals were received for this task order, according to defense.gov. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.
