Long-overdue federally funded dredging of Depoe Bay’s harbor has officially commenced and will continue for two weeks. Currently the Coast Guard is unable to leave the dock at low tide and must keep a motor lifeboat on ready alert outside the harbor. The dredging will allow free access at all times
