After years of excellent cooperation in South East Asia, at the beginning of this year DRAGFLOW Singapore was born and it’s already successfully accomplished many projects such as the deepening and normalization of the Pun Hlaing River in Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Myanmar.

Satisfied with what has been done so far,S.T. Ong, GM of DRAGFLOW Singapore said: “We are definitely moving in the right direction. For the deepening and normalization of the Pun Hlaing River, contractor attended our seminar in Yangon, in July 2014, and liked our approach towards providing a total solution for our customer project.”

“We explain frictional loss, head loss and production calculation during the seminar. We also explain our capability of provide pipe-end to pipe end solution,” added S.T. Ong. “He invited us for a site visit and we did a equipment proposal for the project which was well received by the contractor as well as the project authority. We delivered and commissioned the first unit on 17 September 2014. The second and third unit will be deliver this October.”

The project authority is the Irrigation department, and the project will last until May 2015. The total river length to be dredged is 30 miles and the length of pipe for commissioning is 130m.

The estimated production is 400cbm per hour. The scope of installation are pump (HY85B) and cutter, control valve, piping kit, hoses, pipes and floaters.

Installation of the first unit took a total of 5 days, 4 days to install the hardware and another day for the trial run in the factory.
