“Dredgers, The Environment and Commerce”

The Western Dredging Association (WEDA) and Texas A & M University will host its 2015 Dredging Summit and Expo during June 22-25, 2015 at the Westin Galleria Houston.

The theme of this conference “Dredgers, The Environment and Commerce” will focus on the people and organizations that make dredging happen, and the environmental and commercial impacts of dredging.

Included in the dredging conversations will be the critical economic need for dredging, the importance of enhancing the marine environment, trends in dredging technology and safety, as well as historical dredging development.

During the conference, visitors will be able to visit the Houston Ship Channel – one of the busiest waterways in the United States – as well as environmental restoration projects in the Galveston Bay.
