One of the world’s largest non self-propelled cutter dredger vessels, which is also one of the largest of all cutter dredgers in the world with 5200 kW of cutter power, will feature Wärtsilä engines, both to generate power and to drive the dredging pump.

 

Egypt Against Time to Finish New Suez Canal

We are in a race against time to finish the new Suez Canal Project,” Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish said on Tuesday. Mamish added that the digging rate was beyond expectations due to efforts exerted by the Egyptian army.
