Preparation are well underway for the International Association of Dredging Companies’ (IADC) seminar on dredging and reclamation that will be held next moth, March 23-27, in Cape Town.

The event is being organized for (future) decision makers and their advisors in governments, port and harbor authorities, off-shore companies and other organisations that have to execute dredging projects.

This five-day course strives to provide an understanding through lectures by experts in the field and workshops, partly conducted on-site in order to give the “students” hands-on experience.

As always, IADC will organize a trip to visit a dredging project being executed in the given geographical area, giving the participants the opportunity to see dredging equipment in action and to gain a better feeling of the extent of
