Van Oord’s Flood Prevention Campaign in Russia

Van Oord, one of the world’s leading contractors for dredging, marine engineering and offshore energy sectors, is considering the possibility of dredging the Russian rivers.

The company’s branch manager for Russia, Anko Bos said today at the II International Forum of Dredging Companies that Van Oord is looking into operating at Russian rivers.

According to him, the Company possesses technologies which can prevent river overflows caused by deposited sediment and damaging floods.
