VIDEO: The Three-Runway System

The Airport Authority is planning to expand Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) into a three-runway system to meet its long-term air traffic demand.

The project, which is estimated to cost $141.5 billion, will require the reclamation of 650 hectares of land and construction is expected to start next year.
