Transas, an international developer and supplier of a wide range of software, integrated solutions and hardware technologies for the marine industry, has secured a contract for fitting of three dredging vessels.

The vessels are being built by Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard under the order of FSUE Rosmorport.

Three trailing suction hopper dredgers, designed by a Dutch shipbuilder, will be built for Rosmorport’s branches under the supervision of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

The equipment, consisting of Navi-Sailor 4000, Navi-Radar 4000 and GMDSS equipment, is to be supplied by Transas by the end of 2015.

All three vessels will be equipped with the necessary high-dredging equipment, suitable for the climatic conditions of the region.
