The Inland Marine Expo (IMX) will start today and last until June 17, at Union Station, St. Louis, Mo.

This event is the annual trade show for the inland and intracoastal marine transportation industry.

Target attendees include ports and terminals, barge and towing companies, fleeting and harbor services companies, dredging companies and marine contractors, inland shipyards and repair facilities, and engineers, divers, surveyors and other support industries as well as government agencies.

This year IMX will offer expanded educational opportunities, including free 30-minute sessions in addition to a new, two-day seminar that will be the most comprehensive waterways trends and outlook seminar yet.

These educational sessions, held during both full days of the show, will be dedicated to vessel engineering and management and to port/terminal engineering and management, and will be hosted by leading members of the industry.
