Picture of the Day: Maasmond Cleaning the Royal Docks

The water-injection dredger Maasmond, operated by Van der Kamp International Dredging, has been busy for the last few weeks conducting various dredging operations up and down the Thames.

Lately, the vessel was given the task and has spent several hours cleaning out the King George V lock in the Royal Docks to help keep it fully operational.

The job took just over five hours to complete and included clearing the entire main lock and also the river entrance and now it has been done it will ensure safe passage and operation for the future.
