Per Aarsleff Wins Gotland Deal

Per Aarsleff A/S has entered into a contract with Region Gotland in Sweden, worth DKK 125 million (EUR 16,7 million), for the execution of a cruise ship quay in Port of Visby on Gotland in the Baltic Sea.

The first phase with draft design and pricing will begin now, while the final execution phase is expected to begin in January 2016.

The cruise ship quay is carried out as a pile supported quay deck and will allow ships up to a length of 340 meters to berth, as opposed to previously when the cruise ship guests had to be sailed into Port of Visby in smaller boats.

In Denmark, Aarsleff has recently carried out the new cruise ship quay in Port of Skagen which was recently inaugurated.
