The International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) has announced that a special conference named ‘From Birth to Boom: Asian Maritime Megastructures’ will take place on 23 October 2015 at the Island Shangri-La hotel, Hong Kong.
The Pre-Conference Networking evening event will be held in the same hotel on 22 October 2015.
During this unique event to celebrate the IADC’s 50th anniversary, the lessons learnt and best practices developed at this land reclamation will be identified, discussed and compared with upcoming reclamations and dredging projects in the region: How have the project owners dealt with/how are they dealing with financial, legal, technical and environmental aspects of the project and, most importantly, how can stakeholder participation be optimized.
