The Coastal Structures and Solutions to Coastal Disasters Joint Conference 2015, organized by Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute (COPRI), will be held on September 9-11, in Boston, MA.

This three-day joint technical specialty conference will bring together professionals and practitioners from all parts of the world to discuss lessons learned from disasters and to propose solutions to reduce future impacts of coastal hazards.

COPRI is a multidisciplinary and international leader in improving the knowledge and practice of civil engineering and other disciplines in the coastal, ocean, port, waterways and riverine environments. COPRI’s Coastal Council includes the following technical committees: Coastal & Estuarine Hydroscience, Coastal Engineering Research Council, Coastal Structures and Coastal Zone Management.

Coastal Structures is an international conference series and is held every four years. Recent meetings have been held in Santander, Spain (1999), Portland OR, USA (2003), Venice, Italy (2007), and Yokohama, Japan (2011).
