Geosynthetics & Coast 2015, the Third International Workshop on Geosynthetics and Modern Materials in Coastal Protection and Related Applications, will be held in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, from 2-4 December 2015.

The workshop is being organized by Anahuac Mayab University and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras.

Geosynthetics & Coasts 2015 will convene experts from academic institutions, government, industry, professional associations and students from Latin America, North America, Asia and Europe.

In addition to the technical program, the workshop will offer two technical tour stops:

Originally held in Chennai, India, in 2010 and 2013, this is the first time the workshop is carried out in the Americas.
