Royal HaskoningDHV’s leading professional for flood resilience and technical director for water security, Fola Ogunyoye, will be one of the key speakers at the Resilience15, a one-day conference which will explore the opportunities and the business case for investing in and implementing flood resilience strategies.

Fola will be speaking at 4pm today in a session entitled “ Delivering flood resilient communities: Global examples of good practice, and his presentation will focus on recognizing the importance of creating water sensitive cities using examples including New Orleans and New Jersey “.

The conference takes place today and will assess government policy and funding priorities following the 2015 election as well as the business case for flood resilience investment.

It will also look at green infrastructure, the role of data, water resilient urban design and other strategies for better adaptive planning and design.
