The Port of Virginia, one of the few deep water ports on the East Coast, is entering into a period of historic capital investment and infrastructure expansion.

In order to attract companies specializing in the construction, engineering and architectural trades, the port will today, November 5th 2015, hold a “ Construction Contractors’ Open House ” at the Half Moone Cruise Terminal in downtown Norfolk.

Beginning at 2:00 p.m. (local time), the Open House is aimed to improve knowledge regarding the port’s expansion plans.

Attendees will benefit from in-depth briefings, delivered by Port of Virginia colleagues, on topics including:
