The dredging operations at the Oslo Fairway, undertaken by a Finnish dredging equipment manufacturer and contractor, Wasa Dredging, are moving ahead.

Wasa has just released this beautiful photo from this dredging scheme, which shows their backhoe giant Hector during the deepening work.

About 90.000m³ of bedrock will be taken out from this area and dumped in Spro havn, Wasa said.

The Hector is working in the area with barges Jenna and Laura.

During this project, 27 different locations will be dredged, spreading over 25 km long fairway from Drøback to Oslo Indre havn.
