The 45th Dredging Engineering Short Course will be held on January 11-15, 2016 at the College Station, Texas.

The dredging course, held each year in January, includes a mixture of lectures, laboratories and discussion on the Texas A&M University campus.

The course is administered by the Center for Dredging Studies in cooperation with the Office of Professional Development.

The Center for Dredging Studies was established in 1968 as a result of conferences held between educators, representatives of the dredging industry, manufacturers, and officials at Texas A&M University.

The Center is part of the Ocean Engineering Program in the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering and the Texas Engineering Experiment Station and is supported by gifts and research grants from the dredging industry and the government.
