Registration Open for WEDA Midwest Chapter Meeting

The Western Dredging Association has just announced that the registration is now open for the 2016 WEDA Midwest Chapter Meeting, set for March 23-25, 2016, in Davenport, IA.

At the event, best dredging practices and innovation in the Midwest and beyond will be discussed.

Topics to be included are sediment investigation, environmental and navigational dredging, shoreline protection and restoration, sediment management and re-use, and surveying.

The conference will be held at the Radisson Quad City Plaza in Davenport IA, and the general schedule will be:

  • Wednesday March 23: Ice Breaker Reception at hotel at 6:00 PM;
  • Thursday March 24: Presentations in morning, followed by technical tour on Mississippi Riverboat;
  • Friday March 25: Presentations in morning, the Conference ends at noon.

The Midwest Chapter of WEDA represents Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Ontario, Canada.
