WM Plant Hire, a Bridgnorth-based company that operates one of the largest fleet of long reach excavators in the UK, has just released a video about the River Parrett maintenance dredging scheme.

The project used a wide range of long reach excavators to dredge a 2.5 km stretch of the River Parrett in Somerset.

Work was carried out from the bank with a long reach and from a pontoon in the river, using barges filled with silt pushed with a tugboat.
