Royal HaskoningDHV Project in Bangladesh Shortlisted for NCE Award

Royal HaskoningDHV has been shortlisted for the International Impact Award as part of the New Civil Engineer’s NCE100 program, in recognition of the company’s extensive work across the globe.

The NCE100, due to be published in May, will showcase excellence in civil engineering practice by ranking the top 100 firms against the NCE’s five core pillars – Future Engineer, Future Technology, Technical Excellence, Engineering Equality and World View.

One example of Royal HaskoningDHV’s international work is the project team working on the major coastal embankment improvement project in Bangladesh.

As part of a $2 billion project, the company is providing the engineering design and project management for the first phase of construction, which will upgrade over 600km of embankments to protect some 42 million coastal residents and their communities.

Craig Huntbatch, UK Resident Director at Royal HaskoningDHV commented: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award in recognition of how we provide our engineers with the best opportunities in today’s global market. Examples such as the Bangladesh project highlight just how much we focus on enhancing society across the globe.
