With only three months left until the Western Dredging Association’s 21st World Dredging Congress & Exposition (WODCON XXI), preparations for the event are now in full swing.
WEDA will combine it’s annual Dredging Summit & Expo ’16 conference with this World Dredging Congress to form WODCON XXI at the Hyatt Regency Miami from June 13-17, 2016.
The congress will feature an outstanding technical program with 120 papers and numerous focused panels for dredging related developments and projects from around the world.
In addition, there will be plenty of opportunities to connect with others in the industry at the various social events and functions occurring throughout the week.
During the event, the 2016 WEDA Safety Excellence Awards will be also presented, recognizing projects for their outstanding contribution to meeting the goals of WEDA, which include:
Of greatest interest to the Safety Committee are those entities who have achieved a major milestone that advances safety in the dredging industry and offers insights and safety strategies that can be used to improve WEDA members’ safety performance.
