The World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure (PIANC) in conjunction with DHI Water and Environment (M) Sdn Bhd and KASI Malaysia Sdn Bhd recently organized a PIANC Seminar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The aim of the event was to bring together the Malaysian navigation infrastructure community to discuss the state of navigation and navigation infrastructure projects in Malaysia and around the world through a number of insightful professional lectures from industry experts working in the area.

The presentations were very well received by more than 50 participants that included authorities, port operators and authorities and consultants from Peninsula Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak and the presence of PIANC Secretary General Mr Louis Van Schel.

PIANC is the forum where professionals around the world join forces to provide expert advice on cost-effective, reliable and sustainable infrastructure to facilitate the growth of waterborne transport.
