Weaverville Hosts Erosion Control Workshop

The Salmonid Restoration Federation, Pacific Watershed Associates and Five Counties Salmonid Conservation Program will host a workshop about erosion control on Monday, June 6, 9 am to 5 pm at Fire Hall Room, Weaverville, CA.

The workshop will highlight identifying and evaluating sediment sources, assessing environmental impacts, creating erosion control and prevention plans, designing and evaluating grading plans, and the environmental permitting application process.

This event will be held under the name ‘Sediment and Erosion Control and Best Management Practices Workshop’.

The afternoon field tour will include erosion control and road retrofitting field sites.
