CEDA Hosts Dredging Events for Students

Young CEDA recently organized two events for students in the Netherlands to present them more info about working in the dredging and marine construction industry.

The first event took place on 30 May at Twente University, Enschede and the next one shortly after at the Delft University of Technology, in Delft.

Both programs consisted of informative presentations by young professionals working in different segments of the dredging field as consultants, contractors or designers and builders of dredging vessel.

The Twente University event was an opportunity for students to hear from young professionals who shared their personal experiences and gave the audience an insight into their working day and career perspectives.

The gathered audience in Delft heard from Michel Zuiderwijk (Witteveen & Bos), Auke Terlouw (Van Den Herik) and Peter de Looze (HAL Maritiem). The three invited speakers shared their experiences of working in the industry in the early phase of their careers.
